ANGLOPHONE / BILINGUAL EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

The modern daycare center/nursery, « ANGES DE

CHRIST »—located in Douala New-Bell, opposite the Sainte Anne pharmacy—is

dedicated to the physical and emotional well-being of young children. We are

seeking a qualified, passionate, and dynamic Anglophone (bilingual) Early

Childhood Educator to join our team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcome and supervise children in a warm,

secure, and stimulating environment.

Organize and lead developmental activities,

games, and preschool learning sessions, primarily in English.

Ensure the daily physical and psychological

well-being and hygiene of the children.

Support each child at their own pace as they

develop autonomy and language skills.

Communicate effectively and collaborate

Formation / Diplômes

harmoniously with parents and the rest of the team to ensure educational

continuity.

Provide education based on European or American

systems (optional).

Develop and implement the daycare’s

pedagogical framework.

Primary language: English; must have a good

understanding or command of French (a bilingual profile is highly valued).

Formal training in early childhood education,

Expérience

preschool teaching, or equivalent experience.

Professional experience in the field of early

childhood.

Minimum educational qualification: BEPC (or

equivalent secondary school certificate).

Strong listening and observation skills,

ability to adapt quickly, proven patience, a gentle demeanour, a sense of

responsibility, creativity, punctuality, and a deep love for children.

Experience or skills in educating children

with autism would be an asset.

Residing nearby would be an asset. TERMS AND

CONDITIONS:

Salary: 60,000 CFA francs – 70,000 CFA francs

Work days and hours: 6:50 AM – 7:00 PM,

Monday through Saturday (flexible hours; strict punctuality required)
