Business Analyst

Job Purpose The Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure thattechnology solutions effectively meet business objectives. The role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, anddocumenting requirements, evaluating business processes, and providing data-driven insights. By supportingsolution design, testing, and implementation, the Business Analyst ensures that IT services and systems delivervalue, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to elicit, document, and analyze software and system requirements. Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements that align with project objectives. Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Management Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather input, provide updates, and manage expectations. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure IT services and solutions effectively support business goals. Process Analysis & Optimization Perform the necessary technical design and development functionality to ensure that business application systems can be effectively developed and implemented. Design of front-end tier(s), middle tier(s), and /or back-end database tier(s) for business applications. Collaborate with business units to design and document optimized processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Support change management by recommending process improvements and helping stakeholders adapt to new workflows. Research and provide input on design approach, performance and base functionality improvements for various procedures and applications. Data Analysis & Insights Collect, validate, and interpret data to support business decision-making and requirement validation. Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across IT systems and reporting platforms.
