Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing data team in the Western Cape. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable data pipelines and workflows. Design and implement data solutions using Azure and Databricks technologies. Work with large datasets to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Develop and maintain Python, SQL, and Spark-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient data platforms. Contribute to best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Degree in a relevant field. 2 to 5 years' experience in a Data Engineering role. Strong experience with Azure. Hands-on experience with Databricks. Proficiency in Python. Advanced SQL skills. Experience working with Spark. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
