Role Description The Finance Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Highlands Suites Hotel in Kigali City, Rwanda. This role is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, including maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and managing general ledger activities. The Finance Accounting Manager will handle budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinate financial reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flows, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, preparing management reports, and supporting internal and external audits. The role also involves collaborating with hotel management to provide financial insights, support cost control initiatives, and guide decision-making to enhance profitability. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support strategic decisions. Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and conducting accurate Financial Reporting. Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to develop, monitor, and manage hotel budgets and forecasts. Candidates should have proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; professional certification (e. g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
