The Al Rastan Hospital, Syria will be a healthcare facility dedicated to providing free, high-quality medical services to vulnerable populations. The hospital will aim to ensure equitable access to healthcare while contributing to the strengthening of local health services and fostering a culture of dignity, respect, and human rights. Position: Logistician-Driver Reporting Line: Operations Manager/Logistician Scope of the Position: The Logistician & Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation to Emergency personnel and ensuring effective logistical support for offices and guesthouse in Damascus, as well supporting procurement, market assessments, supply chain activities, stock management, and facility maintenance. The role contributes to the efficient functioning of organizational operations while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and donor requirements. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Staff Support · Provide safe and reliable transportation for Emergency staff and authorized personnel. · Ensure vehicles are maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with safety and security standards. · Support staff logistics needs, including accommodation and transportation arrangements during their stay in Damascus. Logistics & Facilities Management · Ensure efficient logistical support services for offices and guesthouse. · Monitor field logistics activities to ensure effectiveness, sustainability, and operational efficiency. · Maintain minimum stock levels of office, guesthouse, and logistics supplies. · Support asset and consumable management, ensuring accurate records and tracking. · Collaborate with technical teams to plan and monitor maintenance activities for facilities and project infrastructure.
