The initiative seeks to assess the implementation of the existing policy, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and develop a revised policy framework that aligns with current national priorities, institutional mandates, and international commitments on migration health. The consultancy forms part of the technical support provided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to the Government of the Philippines in advancing evidence-based migration health governance and strengthening multisectoral coordination for the health of migrants and overseas Filipinos. IOM, through its Migration Health Division (MHD), will provide technical and coordination support throughout the consultancy. The consultant is expected to closely coordinate with IOM and DOH-BIHC in the planning, implementation, and validation of all activities, including policy review, stakeholder consultations, drafting of policy revisions, and presentation of findings and recommendations.
