Job Overview The Network Optimization Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and improving MTN Rwanda’s radio access network (RAN) to ensure optimal performance, capacity, and reliability. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the engineer will apply advanced analytics, simulation tools, and field measurements to identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement enhancements. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive network performance assessments using drive‑test data, KPI analysis, and simulation models. Develop and implement optimization plans to improve coverage, capacity, and quality of service. Collaborate with radio planning, engineering, and operations teams to align optimization activities with rollout schedules. Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, providing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions. Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
