Production Lead

This position serves as the key liaison for leadership, providing guidance, supervision, and oversight for the assigned department. The role supports and directs the team to ensure the consistent achievement of daily safety, quality, productivity, and inventory objectives. The individual must exemplify safe work practices and enforce compliance with safety protocols and mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Core Responsibilities: Lead daily ‘start of shift’ meetings and distribute tasks accordingly. Diagnose and resolve operational issues on the production floor. Track quality discrepancies and escalate concerns to management when warranted. Deliver constructive feedback to team members regarding performance deviations. Optimize labor allocation as needed, coordinating resources with fellow team leads and supervisors. Maintain precise records of quality management system training and ensure controlled copies of work instructions remain current. Promote cross-training initiatives within the department and conduct training sessions as required. Monitor mechanical downtime, daily performance metrics, order fulfillment, and material availability. Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education. Candidates must possess at least four years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in quality management and enterprise resource planning systems is essential. The ability to train, certify, and perform all roles within the department is mandatory.
