Technician

Minimum Requirements - Minimum 3 years' field service experience. - Strong PC, networking and troubleshooting skills. - Electrical knowledge and fault-finding experience. - Experience using hand and power tools for installations. - Ability to work independently and manage site activities. - Excellent communication, reporting and organizational skills. - Valid South African driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. - Good physical health and ability to lift equipment up to 40 kg. - Practical experience with drilling, grinding, mounting and installations. - Basic electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability. - Comfortable working on-site and at heights where required. - Willingness to travel to client sites across South Africa. Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain and repair digital display systems. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and electrical faults. - Monitor and restore offline screens to ensure maximum system uptime. - Travel to client sites to perform installations, maintenance and repairs. - Liaise with client IT departments, electricians and our IT team. - Record all service activities and technical issues using the current app. - Manage tools, spare parts and company equipment. - Provide regular technical reports and updates to management. - Plan efficient travel routes and respond to service calls within SLA requirements. - Attend to offline or faulty screens and assist with restoring systems to operational status. - Travel to client sites for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
