About the Role The ideal candidate must be currently working with a bank or financial services and must possess a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders. The financial manager will be responsible for managing and handling the financial activities and reports of the company. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts. Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and present insights to the executive team. Strategic Growth: Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for expansion or cost-saving. Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining robust internal controls. Team Leadership: Oversee accounting/accounts payable/receivable teams and foster a culture of professional development. Cash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity and manage investment strategies to optimize company capital. Developing long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives and market trends Develop and enhance internal reporting processes Academic Qualification & Required Experience Possess a bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 in accounting or finance, with 6+ years of continuous experience in finance and 2 years in a managerial position within a banking or financial sector Relevant professional qualification in ICAN or ACCA Must be currently working with a financial or banking institution BankOne Accounting Software knowledge is an added advantage A master’s degree in accounting or finance is...
