Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and enhance web applications and software systems.
Build and improve frontend and backend functionality.
Troubleshoot bugs, investigate system errors and implement effective solutions.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Implement and maintain payment gateways, subscription billing and CRM integrations.
Develop and improve AI-powered application features.
Design, manage and optimise databases.
Improve application performance, security and responsiveness.
Conduct software testing, debugging and quality assurance.
Manage application deployments, updates and version control.
Maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.
Work independently to deliver development tasks within agreed deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-stack web application development.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern frontend frameworks such as React.js or Next.js.
Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python or PHP.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration.
Experience with Git, GitHub and version control.
Ability to understand, maintain and improve existing codebases.
Good understanding of application security, authentication and data protection.
Experience with cloud hosting, deployment and application maintenance.
Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Ability to design and prototype an idea using figma for design
Desirable Skills:
Experience developing SaaS platforms or online marketplaces.
Experience integrating AI services, including OpenAI APIs.
Experience with Stripe payment gateways, subscriptions and payouts.
Experience integrating Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Familiarity with Google Calendar, Google Meet and messaging APIs.
Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
