We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Global Head of Legal Location: Nigeria Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid, with regional and international travel as required Coverage: Africa and international markets Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished, commercially astute and strategically minded Global Head of Legal to lead our legal affairs, corporate governance, regulatory strategy and commercial legal operations across Africa and international markets. We are looking for a senior legal professional with extensive experience in international commercial law, cross-border transactions, corporate structuring and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will combine legal expertise with executive leadership, commercial judgment and a strong professional network across Africa and international markets. Key Responsibilities Global Legal Strategy & Executive Leadership: Develop and lead AMMC’s global legal strategy in alignment with its commercial objectives, operational activities and international expansion. Advise executive management on legal, corporate, regulatory and commercial matters affecting the company’s operations and strategic direction. Establish and oversee legal frameworks, governance structures, policies and risk management systems across AMMC’s business operations. Provide strategic legal guidance on market entry, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and international partnerships. Build and lead AMMC’s legal function, managing internal legal resources, external counsel and jurisdiction-specific advisers. International Trade & Commercial Transactions: Lead the legal structuring, drafting, review and negotiation of international commercial agreements, commodity contracts, strategic partnerships, joint ventures and cross-border transactions.
