Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of food processing shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow
Ensure all production output meets established quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organised work environment at all times
Plan, coordinate, and manage shift schedules and handovers
Monitor and optimise the utilisation of personnel and production resources
Evaluate and report on employee performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
Enforce and uphold the organisation's standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Identify and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) throughout the production process
Requirements:
Proven ability to communicate and disseminate information clearly and effectively across all levels of staff
Working knowledge of utilities and basic technical systems relevant to food processing operations
Solid understanding of HACCP principles, including the ability to identify and manage CCPs in a production environment
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams under time-sensitive conditions
Experience in a food processing or manufacturing supervisory role is an asset
