In places where electricity, water and roads don’t always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that’s where you come in… How you’ll help us achieve it Our IT Operations team provides strategic oversight and management of our IT infrastructure across all our operating countries, making sure that it is robust, scalable, and aligned with Wave’s growth and operational needs. This team is dedicated to ensuring that all employees have the necessary tools and resources to perform their roles efficiently. In essence, IT Operations ensures the availability, reliability and security of the systems that support the business day to day operations. We’re looking for a Regional IT Manager to oversee IT Operations across several Wave countries of operations, including but not limited to Ivory Coast, Mali, and Burkina Faso. In this role, you’ll; ## Localisation Own IT operations across multiple countries, ensuring 99.9% uptime for IT services, hardware, and core tools at all locations. Act as the primary escalation point for country-level IT issues, coordinating with local IT staff and external vendors to resolve problems quickly. Ensure all employees across your region have access to the tools and equipment they need to perform their roles effectively.
